Hydroflex Composite Skateboards are built like surfboards, except they use only foam, fiber and resin. They’re light, strong and waterproof, as well with 10 exciting neon colors, sure to please any avid boarder. ACMA shared news of the company’s crowd-funding campaign in October. The Oceanside, California-based Surfboard manufacturer Hydroflex Technology LLC. raised over $30,000 and is heading into production mode, with its deck set to deliver in January.
“A while ago we started building skateboards for ourselves using leftover materials from our surfboard manufacturing process. A lot of our friends saw them and wanted one for themselves. They also pushed us to make this project a reality and offer it to you. Our decks are built with foam, fiber and resin – just like a surfboard,” the company wrote on its Kickstarter page.
Hi-Tech Composite Skateboards have a unique deck with a signature honeycomb pattern enhanced with radiating customizable colors that evoke an eye-catching effect. The company implemented this deck using their patented and award-winning 3D-Glassing™ Technology that bonds both sides of the deck together.
