Global Caravan Technologies unveiled the CR-1 trailer prototype earlier this month – the first all-carbon fiber composites RV in the world – at the Dallara IndyCar Factory in Speedway, Ind. Weighing half as much as a conventional trailer, the CR-1 is the result of collaboration between former IndyCar engineers, Purdue University, aerospace engineers, and even the Chinese.
