EarthRoamer LTi bodies are produced using a vacuum infusion process to create and bond two carbon fiber skins to a structural foam core, resulting in a monocoque carbon fiber body that is much stronger and lighter than any traditional RV or overland camper body. This is a new development in the RV and expedition vehicle market, as most manufacturers still use traditional materials and technologies. EarthRoamer has invested heavily in the process, as the LTi bodies are fully designed and manufactured in house at the company’s factory in Dacono, Colorado.
EarthRoamer has come a long way from founder Bill Swails’ dream in 1998 to build an expedition vehicle tough enough and comfortable enough to allow him to travel to remote locations to pursue his passion for wildlife photography. Mr. Swails started by building out his Dodge Ram truck and quickly determined that off the shelf components wouldn’t meet his needs. That’s when he decided to build a camper to his own specifications. In 2003, the EarthRoamer XV-LT was born – XV standing for Xpedition Vehicle and LT for Luxury Terrain.
The EarthRoamer LTi is available with five different floorplans and pricing starts at $590,000.
